How does the trial work?
You can try out our services for $1 to see if they are a good fit for you. We'll edit up to 1,000 words and carry out 2 revisions. And no, you won't automatically be signed up for a subscription. There are absolutely no strings attached to this offer.
What are unlimited revisions?
We are happy to edit your work as many times as needed until you are satisfied. Please keep in mind that we only work on one article at a time.
How do you calculate the words?
Usually, we look at the word count of your original draft and not the revised versions. However, there are times when the revised versions are significantly longer. In these cases, we would look at the word count of the final version.
What kind of content do you edit?
Pretty much anything - newsletters, blog posts, e-books, case studies, and other forms of business writing. However, we do not edit technical content which requires subject matter expertise such as scientific or medical knowledge. If you have any specific requests, please let us know and we’ll try our best to help you.
What is line editing?
We examine every line for structure, flow, and consistency. We look at the overall flow of the content, make sure it actually conveys what you intend it to, suggest word substitutions, and recommend deletions and additions to the text.

What is copy editing?
We do a round of editing to check for typos, grammatical errors, fix punctuation, and polish your draft.
What formats do you accept drafts in?
We’re happy to work on either MS Word or Google Docs. In the former, we use "Track Changes" and in the latter, we use the ‘Suggesting’ mode. This way you can keep tabs on the changes we’ve made and accept or reject them easily.
What is the turnaround time?
Turnaround times depend on the length and complexity of the content. Usually, we turn around a blog post within 24 hours on business days. E-books and white papers will take longer (up to 5 business days) depending on how long they are. We communicate the turnaround time in advance so you can plan for it.
What are your working hours?
We work around the clock from Monday to Friday and take weekends off to recharge.
You can send in your content at any time. However, any drafts submitted after 2 p.m. EST on Fridays will be processed on Monday but you will have the first edit by the end of the day.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
If you’re not satisfied with Edit Ops within 30 days of purchasing either the Basic or Advanced Plan, you’re eligible for a full refund. Please send us an email or talk to your editor to request cancellation.
We’ll review your request and do our best to find a solution, failing which, we’ll issue a full refund.
Don’t worry. Our priority is to deliver a seamless experience for you. There is nothing that would prevent you from cancelling or getting your money back within this period.
Am I locked into a long-term contract?
Not at all. You are enrolled in a month to month membership. You can cancel your subscription anytime – hassle-free. You can also downgrade or upgrade your subscription depending on your needs.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. All taxes and fees are included in our prices.
What is my billing schedule?
We work on a 30-day cycle and you will be billed every 30 days.
Do you charge on a per-word basis?
If you need more than 25,000 words/month edited, please reach out to us at email@example.com and we'll create a custom plan for you.
